In September 2013, Baek-il operated a dedicated department for research. In May 2015, Baek-il opened a company-affiliated research institute to further strengthen research and development. Baek-il has built up a research infrastructure to identify and respond to advanced technology and customer needs in the field of future strategic industries and organic new materials. Based on this, Baek-il seeks to improve quality and develop new technologies.
